Roosters putting best foot forward

The Sydney Roosters High Performance Unit took another step forward today when Foot Focus dropped by to assess the players podiatry requirements.
Principal Podiatrist and Director of Foot Focus, Paul Boudville, was at Roosters HQ to carry out an assessment on the full time training squad and will continue to do so for the next couple of weeks.
“Each assessment can take up to 30 minutes to an hour-and-a-half depending on the individual,” Mr Boudville said.
The players will go through a static, dynamic and a platform based pressure scan while also having a 3D optical foot scan.
The data of each players test will ultimately provide the coaching staff with results that will prevent injury, improve performance and allow the individual to make smarter footwear choices.
